82. Nahum Newton

o. 27 Feb 1829

Laura O. Newton's guradianship papers say that her father was Nahum Newton of Shrewsbury. This Nahum Newton of Shrewsbury died in the same year that Laura was put under the guardianship of another Nahum Newton. I am assuming that there were nottwo Nahum Newtons of Shrewsbury that died in 1829. It could be that Laura was not really Nahum's biological daughter.,"Mr. Newton lived in Shrewsbury. It is said his children were born there, though none are recorded there. His estate was settled without a will in 1829. The list of the case in Probate Court is: '1829. Newton, Nahum, Shrewsbury. Adm. No.43337."

83. Martha Bellows

There is a Nahum Newton mentioned in the Shrewsbury Vital Records who married a Patty Bellows (b. 25 Oct. 1770 - the Bellows Family Genealogy Page) on 29 Nov. 1792 in Grafton, Massachusetts.,
